The film, which tells the story of two lovers separated by Russia’s anti-gay laws and mainstream homophobia, has won him three pencils at D&AD, Gold (Production Design / Art Direction), Silver (Direction), and Bronze (Film Non Profit/Charity) Lions at Cannes Lions, as well as a Gold (Best Cinematography) and Silver (Best Production Design in Music Video) award at Ciclope.
